The Cardel Rec South is home to Alberta's only community operated Quad arena facility. The first two opened to the public in January 2001 and the expansion that added an additional two opened in February 2012. Each arena boasts an NHL regulation-sized ice surface with viewing for 300 spectators. Dressing rooms are spacious and lead directly to the players boxes.

Prime Time:

12 months - Year Round

4:00 pm - 11 pm Weekdays and 6am-11pm Weekends

• Public Youth: $293.00/hr​

• Adult: ​$345.03

 

Non Prime Time, Fall/Winter/Spring

Monday - Friday, 6 am - 4 pm

• Public Youth: $145.62/hr​

• Adult: $189.77/hr​

 

Late Night, September to August

After 11pm

All Late Night Rentals: $266.36/hr

 

Summer Ice (July - August 2026)

Prime rates remain the same year-round 

• Youth Non-Prime

  • 60 mins: $158.21

• Adult Non-Prime 

  • 60 mins: $178.27​
